My Philosophy

When You Feel Stuck, It Doesn’t Mean Something Is Wrong With You

I know what it’s like to feel stuck for years on end. I know the experience of sensing that who you are on the inside doesn’t quite match how you’re showing up in the world.

This isn’t proof of failure or brokenness. Often, it’s the natural consequence of growth getting blocked, like a logjam in a river. Blocks aren’t permanent. They can be shifted. Many of them can be resolved completely.

My own experience of shifting long-standing stuckness through Lifespan Integration therapy played a significant role in my path to becoming a therapist. It deepened my belief that meaningful change is possible when the right kind of support is present.

ABOUT Angie

A Relational, Grounded Approach to Therapy

I’m a lifelong Pacific Northwesterner, married since my early twenties, and a mother of three — a son and twin daughters — all stepping into young adulthood. Our family is biracial, and we share our home with a much-loved Golden Retriever.

Being a partner, a parent, a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, and a friend has been a rich training ground for understanding relationships. I’m a spiritual person and find deep meaning in connection and the ways relationships invite growth and healing into our lives.

MY APPROACH

Restoring Flow Where Growth Feels Blocked

My primary role as a therapist is to help you reconnect with the part of yourself that holds curiosity and compassion, especially toward the parts of you that feel overwhelmed or stuck.

Together, we’ll gently get to know the blocks that are interrupting your natural flow. Through talk therapy, parts work, and Lifespan Integration, we will work to restore movement within your system.

When that happens, hope often follows.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I’m trained as a systems thinker. That means I pay attention to the full context of your life - your identity, relationships, family experiences, work, spirituality, culture, and history. In this space, all of you is invited.

Training & Background:

  • MS in Marriage and Family Therapy

  • BA in Drama

  • Fully trained in Lifespan Integration

  • Completed the Internal Family Systems Online Circle

  • Level One training in the Developmental Model through the Couples Institute

Ways to Work Together

Individual and Couples Therapy

Whether you’re navigating challenges on your own or within a relationship, therapy can be a space for curiosity, connection, and growth. I offer both individual therapy and couples therapy, tailored to your needs and where you are in your process.

Individual Therapy

For individuals seeking clarity, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

I work with individuals who are ready to look inward and learn more about themselves, especially when something feels blocked or out of alignment. When appropriate, I use Lifespan Integration alongside talk therapy and parts work to support lasting, grounded change.

This approach helps restore natural flow within your system and supports meaningful shifts in how you experience yourself and your life.

Couples Therapy

For partners wanting to strengthen connection and move beyond stuck patterns.

I’m trained in the Developmental Model through the Couples Institute, an approach that blends attachment, differentiation, and neuroscience to help couples move beyond painful patterns together. This work supports learning how to stay connected while also maintaining a healthy sense of autonomy, something many of us didn’t see modeled growing up.

Through this process, couples can experience meaningful shifts that support a more resilient and satisfying relationship.
